2 - 4 patients seen per 24-hour call period
Inpatient and call responsibilities
Call response time: 15 - 20 minutes required
Skills required: vaginal delivery and C-section
Low risk pregnancy management required
Preferred: high risk OB, ultrasounds, and amniocentesis
Approximately 400 deliveries per year
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
