Facility Janitor - 2nd Shift (2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.)

Johanson Technology Inc. Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas. Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.Empty all recycling containers and place material in proper locationDusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered. Dust furniture, walls and fixtures. Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner. Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals. Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times. Notify managers concerning the need for repairs. Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables and chairs to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.Other routine maintenance duties as assigned. Physical And Mental Demands The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
