Working under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, you will assist with cleaning, basic maintenance tasks, and general facility support while learning valuable maintenance skills. Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial.

Job Duties

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility and surrounding grounds
• Assist with basic facility and equipment maintenance
• Support day-to-day upkeep projects as assigned
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
• Report maintenance concerns and facility issues
• Help ensure a safe and organized work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning commercial, industrial, office, healthcare, educational, or manufacturing facilities is preferred.
• Experience operating floor care equipment, buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and pride in their work are well positioned for success as a Facility Janitor.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.
