Description
The City of Round Rock is seeking a highly skilled, forward-thinking Facility Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations, renovations, and long-range planning for our municipal buildings. You're a problem-solver, a planner, and a mentor. You understand both the "big picture" of facility operations and the technical components behind electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems. You bring strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and confidence supervising staff and contractors.

Municipal experience is not required. Many successful candidates come from commercial, industrial, or large-scale property management settings.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Additional work experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
Minimum five years of progressively responsible facility maintenance experience, including two years in a leadership role
Working knowledge of a broad range of trades including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, temperature controls, and building automation systems
Technical familiarity with equipment such as power feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, AC/DC drives, PLCs, UPS systems, air handling units, and CRAC units
