We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Facility Maintenance Team Member will assist with the daily upkeep of the facility's buildings and grounds. This position will generally involve the performance of manual tasks requiring skilled or special knowledge acquired through on-the-job training or experience. The Facility Maintenance Team Member will aid team members in the completion of various tasks and day-to-day maintenance duties as required. The Facility Maintenance Team Member will be available to assist event staff as needed during event operations.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Maintain facility by operating necessary grounds care equipment including heavy machineryMows, trims, edges, fertilizes, sods, aerates, and irrigates common grounds of the complex using many different pieces of grounds maintenance equipmentPerform weed and insect control in all common ground areasAssists with the layout and painting of multipurpose fields as neededOperates, maintains, and performs minor repair for irrigation systemMaintain equipment inventory, maintenance logs, ongoing maintenance and keep machinery operational. Responds to all Maintenance requests through Maintenance Care online portal using assistance of outside vendors as neededPerform janitorial and general maintenance duties in all buildings / field areasMeets with the Operations Manager and/or other supervisors to discuss and plan identified maintenance tasks and cultural practices Performs and enforces necessary safety training and proceduresMaintains knowledge of complex events and activities while interacting with guests of the park in a positive wayAssisting Event Staff as needed during facility eventsAll additional duties assigned by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Understand and follow both oral and written instructionsWork independently with minimal supervisionEffective time management skillsPrior experience using maintenance equipment and procedures1 to 2 years' experience with sports facilities operations/landscapingAvailable and willing to work long hours and varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidaysPossess or ability to obtain a valid Driver's LicenseWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Will be required to lift 50 poundsWill be required to work in all weather conditionsWill be required to paint, clean equipment, and safely handle chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, powder, spray, and aerosol formsWill be required to work in conditions that will create dirt and dustWill be required to perform essential maintenance to facility or equipment which may involve but are not limited to the following activities: semi reaching to full-reach overhead; crouching; kneeling; shoveling; working in narrow and/or confining spaces: underground, overhead, and at ground level; twisting of the waist, shoulders, and legs; and lying on stomach and/or backMust wear proper uniformFacility has intermittent noise
