As part of the machine/building maintenance team, the person in this position proficiently performs repairs, modifications and preventative maintenance on buildings, facilities, equipment and fixtures.

 

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

 

  • Perform maintenance service and repairs in the areas of carpentry, painting and plastering.
  • Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools, power tools and reassemble equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.
  • Inspect drives, motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following checklists.
  • Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery and equipment.
  • Inspect, operate and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 2 years related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Strong Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of, buildings, or other structures.
  • Strong Knowledge of design techniques, tools, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
What We Offer:

Compensation: This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $51,000 - $67,200 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for the BroadBase Incentive (BBI) program with a target payout of 2%.

 

Location and Schedule: This position is located in Richardson, TX and will be in the office Monday through Friday.
