In this role, the Facility Maintenance Tech performs routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient operations. This hands-on role keeps machines, mechanical equipment, and building structures in good repair. Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for maintaining facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and structural.Perform routine equipment maintenance, repairs, and calibration.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical systems.Recommend equipment and facility upgrades.Obtain bids and work with subcontractors on equipment and facility repairs and upgrades.On-call status for emergency maintenance and repairs to equipment and facilities.Maintenance and organization of equipment supplies and spare parts.Record and maintain detailed logs of tests and repairs.Work spans everything from new machine setup to office restoration to off-site facility projects.Education & Experience RequirementsEducation: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Technical or vocational certification in facilities maintenance, electrical, HVAC, or a related field is highly preferred.Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years in the field with strong technical knowledge and proficiency in maintaining and repairing major systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC. Ability to use and maintain a variety of manual, electrical, and gas-powered hand and shop tools is required.
