Coast Electric is seeking a skilled and dependable **Facility Maintenance Technician** to help maintain our facilities, grounds, and infrastructure. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our buildings, equipment, and properties remain safe, functional, and well main for employees, members, and visitors.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
· Perform general maintenance, repair, and improvement of Coast Electric and CoastConnect facilities and grounds.
· Troubleshoot and complete repairs involving building systems, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related components.
· Install, maintain, and repair facility infrastructure, equipment, fixtures, and grounds.
· Assist with construction, renovation, and facility improvements projects.
· Support communication and technology infrastructure by assisting with cable installation and troubleshooting.
· Prepare facilities and grounds for company meetings, events, and operational needs.
· Maintain a safe work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS:**
· High School Diploma or equivalent required; high school diploma preferred.
· Experience in building maintenance, construction, facilities maintenance, or related field preferred.
· Valid Driver's License required.
· Working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and general business maintenance.
· Basic understanding of computer programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), timekeeping software, and other electronic systems.
· Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
· Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Must be willing to work overtime, holiday, and weekend when needed or in emergency situations, as Coast Electric is designated as an essential business and/or emergency responder.
