Facility Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in facilities management, is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the operations support team, contributing to the seamless functioning of commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

Location: Costa Mesa, CA

Pay Range: $30-$35hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, with flexible scheduling options

What's the Job?

• Perform routine light maintenance activities including filter changes, lighting replacements, site inspections, furniture assembly, and office builds to maintain facility functionality and appearance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using systematic troubleshooting methods and appropriate tools.
• Execute general building maintenance tasks encompassing interior and exterior carpentry, drywall repair, light electrical work, light plumbing, and painting to preserve building integrity.
• Assist with HVAC systems maintenance and repairs, supporting the engineering team in keeping climate control systems operational.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to identify maintenance needs proactively and ensure compliance with safety standards.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; hands-on experience in low-level maintenance activities preferred.
• Commercial experience in facilities maintenance or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
