Facilities Maintenance Technician

Ford of Boerne is seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain our dealership property, buildings, equipment, and grounds. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, can identify problems before they become larger issues, and is comfortable handling a variety of maintenance and repair responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the dealership facility
• Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair projects
• Inspect the property regularly and identify items requiring repair or preventative maintenance
• Maintain lighting, doors, fixtures, furniture, and other facility components
• Assist with basic HVAC maintenance and coordinate outside vendors when necessary
• Maintain dealership grounds, parking areas, sidewalks, and exterior appearance
• Perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
• Assist with pressure washing, cleanup, and property improvement projects

Qualifications

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance, construction, property maintenance, or a related field preferred
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs independently
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working indoors and outdoors
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Professional attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
