Job Overview

We are hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician to support the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services (OKDRS) in Oklahoma City. This is a long-term, onsite contract opportunity ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in building maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
• Troubleshoot issues related to electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Complete work orders and maintain maintenance logs
• Handle general facility upkeep, including minor carpentry, painting, and repairs
• Assist with moving equipment and performing physical tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in facility, building, or general maintenance
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to work fully onsite in Oklahoma City, OK

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or government facilities
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs
• Certifications such as HVAC, electrical, or safety training (LOTO, OSHA, etc.)
