Facility Maintenance Technician
Pay Range: $47,265-$52,807 depending on experience
Hours: This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday
What you'll do:
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and inspecting buildings, building equipment, furnishings, irrigation, landscaping, and grounds equipment. The Facility Maintenance Technician performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance duties ranging from operating equipment to unskilled laboring tasks such as but not limited to: changing HVAC filters, setup and take down for events, mowing and maintaining grounds, operating a forklift and floor equipment, painting, ceiling repairs, and other repair and maintenance duties as assigned.
What we're looking for:
High School Diploma, or equivalent
Three years of previous experience which must include working with varied maintenance operations/procedures, trade practices, and equipment operation
Must successfully pass a criminal background check, possess a valid driver's license issued by the State of Utah and have an acceptable driving record
Sense of pride and ownership in work is essential
Requires frequent physical exertion including lifting up to 75 lbs., bending, reaching, kneeling, and walking
Knowledge of methods and techniques used in the operation, repair, and maintenance of facilities and equipment
Ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment
Ability to work with little supervision; be organized and able to track a variety of assignments simultaneously
Requires ability to work a flexible work schedule as needed
Requires demonstrated ability to work with individuals of all racial, ethnic, and social-economic backgrounds
Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written
