Facility Maintenance Technician

Pay Range: $47,265-$52,807 depending on experience

Hours: This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday

What you'll do:

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and inspecting buildings, building equipment, furnishings, irrigation, landscaping, and grounds equipment. The Facility Maintenance Technician performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance duties ranging from operating equipment to unskilled laboring tasks such as but not limited to: changing HVAC filters, setup and take down for events, mowing and maintaining grounds, operating a forklift and floor equipment, painting, ceiling repairs, and other repair and maintenance duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent

  • Three years of previous experience which must include working with varied maintenance operations/procedures, trade practices, and equipment operation

  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check, possess a valid driver's license issued by the State of Utah and have an acceptable driving record

  • Sense of pride and ownership in work is essential

  • Requires frequent physical exertion including lifting up to 75 lbs., bending, reaching, kneeling, and walking

  • Knowledge of methods and techniques used in the operation, repair, and maintenance of facilities and equipment

  • Ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment

  • Ability to work with little supervision; be organized and able to track a variety of assignments simultaneously

  • Requires ability to work a flexible work schedule as needed

  • Requires demonstrated ability to work with individuals of all racial, ethnic, and social-economic backgrounds

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written
