Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Facility Quality & Maintenance Technician with strong carpentry and general facility maintenance experience. This role will be responsible for maintaining the facility, supporting equipment reliability, completing repairs, and ensuring the building and work areas meet company quality, safety, and operational standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience with carpentry, building repairs, preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and facility inspections.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general facility maintenance and repairs throughout the building.
Complete carpentry work, including framing, drywall, doors, trim, shelving, repairs, and building improvements.
Perform preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility-related issues as qualified.
Inspect buildings, work areas, equipment, and facility infrastructure for maintenance and safety concerns.
Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize repairs based on urgency and operational impact.
Support Production and Quality teams with facility-related issues that may impact operations or product quality.
Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
Assist with facility improvement, renovation, and construction projects.
Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when specialized work is required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow OSHA and company safety requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on facility condition, safety, quality, and reliability.
Qualifications
Previous experience in facility maintenance, industrial maintenance, construction, or manufacturing.
Strong carpentry and general building repair experience.
Experience with drywall, framing, doors, hardware, shelving, flooring, and general facility repairs.
Mechanical troubleshooting experience.
Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge preferred.
Experience performing preventative maintenance.
Strong understanding of workplace safety and OSHA requirements.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to read basic drawings, manuals, and technical instructions.
Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance requests.
High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical certification is a plus.
