UPA is seeking an experienced, people-focused leader to take the lead at Ascott Gardens Residential Aged Care Home in Orange NSW.

About Ascott Gardens

Located in Orange NSW, Ascott Gardens is a residential aged care home within UPA’s Central West Region, providing 24-hour care and support to residents. The home features spacious living areas, gardens, outdoor walking areas and dedicated spaces designed to support resident wellbeing and quality care.

With a strong focus on person-centred care, Ascott Gardens provides a welcoming environment where residents, families and staff are connected through compassion, respect and community. The home also supports residents living with dementia through dedicated care areas designed to provide a safe and supportive environment.

The Opportunity

As Facility Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of Ascott Gardens, including resident care, workforce leadership, compliance, quality improvement and service performance.

More importantly, you will set the tone for the home.

You will:

  • Build and lead an engaged, accountable and high-performing team

  • Drive exceptional resident-centred care outcomes

  • Create a positive workplace culture where employees feel supported and empowered

  • Strengthen relationships with residents, families and the wider community

  • Lead accreditation, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Oversee workforce planning, budgets and operational performance

  • Champion quality, safety and excellence in care delivery

About You

You are an experienced aged care leader who understands how to balance compassion with strong operational leadership.

You bring:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within Residential Aged Care

  • Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards

  • Experience managing compliance, workforce and operational performance

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • The ability to coach, develop and inspire teams

  • A proactive, solutions-focused and improvement-driven mindset

Registered Nurse qualifications and current AHPRA registration are highly regarded but are not essential for the right leadership candidate.
