Job Titles: Facility Manager
Pay Rate: $40-$50.00/ hr on W2
DURATION:   Temporary w/ possibility of it becoming Temp-Direct (520 hour conversion) IF a new contract is awarded.
• Starting 8/03/2026 thru approx. 9/30/2026 (2 months)

Facility Manager
 
Position Summary
The Facility Manager provides day-to-day facilities management for healthcare and administrative facilities. The individual will coordinate maintenance activities, support construction and repair projects, conduct facility inspections, and serve as the liaison between government personnel, contractors, and maintenance teams to ensure facilities remain safe, operational, and compliant.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide daily field support for facility maintenance and repair activities.
• Perform routine facility inspections and identify deficiencies.
• Coordinate corrective maintenance with operations and maintenance contractors.
• Monitor contractor performance and verify work completion.
• Assist with utility outage planning and coordination.
• Support minor construction and renovation projects.
• Track work orders and update facility management systems (DMLSS or CMMS preferred).
• Participate in project meetings and provide status updates.
• Coordinate access for contractors and escorts as required.
• Ensure work complies with safety requirements and applicable codes.
• Assist with turnover inspections and punch list verification.
• Respond to facility issues and help prioritize maintenance requests.
• Prepare meeting notes, reports, and daily activity summaries.
 
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of facilities management, building operations, or construction experience.
• Experience supporting commercial, healthcare, military, or federal facilities preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
 
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in healthcare facilities.
• Knowledge of DMLSS, Maximo, or other computerized maintenance management systems.
• Familiarity with NAVFAC, USACE, or Department of Defense projects.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• CHFM, PMP, or similar professional certification.
 
Physical Requirements
• Ability to walk large campuses and construction sites daily.
• Ability to climb stairs and occasionally access mechanical spaces.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
