Under the general supervision of the Department /Agency Head or designee, the employee performs various tasks involving the maintenance of the buildings and grounds of the Department / Agency. He/she uses good dexterity in operating small hand tools and power equipment and maintains the equipment in good operational order. As directed, the incumbent cleans restrooms, offices, and visitor use areas, collects trash, and cleans carpets. Conducts routine inspections of the facilities for safety hazards and corrects or reports hazardous conditions or practices to ensure the safety of the employees and visitors.Job Type: Classified
