Description:

You will be the Facility Operations Supervisor - Level 3 for the Facility Operations team which is responsible for overseeing chillers, boilers, pumps, and associated equipment supporting the Fort Worth plant infrastructure.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Facility Operations Supervisor - Level 3 you will be responsible for managing 24/7 operation of large chillers and boilers, directing hourly staff, and coordinating repairs with Plant Engineering.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervise scheduled employees and union/CBA members to ensure continuous operation of chillers, boilers, pumps, and related equipment.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with Plant Engineering and other support groups.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, budget, and union‑contract requirements.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Manage a 9×80 work schedule, providing coverage across all shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

A detail‑oriented leader with deep knowledge of large‑scale chillers and boilers, strong communication skills, and proven ability to manage union crews in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

  • This is a 9x80 Role. Must be willing to work any shift, weekends, and holidays.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in Central Plant and/or Boiler operations
  • Understand the preventive maintenance operations of boiler, chillers, scheduling, prioritizing work, and/or resource allocation is required
  • Demonstration of leadership/management abilities

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in managing a union/CBA environment
  • 5 years of professional leadership experience
  • Experience in CMMS systems/ Maximo
  • Proficient in Micro-Soft Office tools
  • Good Verbal and written skills
  • Should possess technical familiarity with life cycle

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
