Description:

You will be the Facility Operations Supervisor - Level 3 for the Facilities Operations team which is responsible for managing mechanical and electrical maintenance activities across the plant.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Facility Operations Supervisor - Level 3 you will be responsible for directing hourly staff and vendors, overseeing project schedules, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide direction to hourly/non‑exempt personnel and subcontractors, applying established policies and precedents.
  • Review work for sound judgment, quality, and efficiency, and administer employee‑related policies.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, following established procedures, timelines, and work plans.
  • Oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance operations, coordinating with vendors as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act executive exemption criteria.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Prior Management and/or Leadership experience (formal or informal) in a heavy industrial plant setting
  • Facility Maintenance infrastructure or critical systems experience

Desired Skills:

  • Facility Maintenance Supervisor experience specifically in Mechanical and Electrical Operations.
  • Minimum of 3 years Maintenance Supervisory experience in a heavy industrial plant setting.
  • Experience leading effectively in a challenging environment with all levels of personnel, including internal and external customers.
  • Technical skills and knowledge of critical equipment maintenance that supports the product and infrastructure systems

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
