Job Summary:
Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership career at the nation's only gas centrifuge manufacturing facility? As the Facility Superintendent you'll work directly alongside the Facility Services Manager to support the oversight of site facilities, contracts, maintenance activities, and special projects across our 80-acre campus. You'll help ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations while coordinating resources that support production, infrastructure, and tenant organizations.
The Facility Superintendent serves as the primary backup to the Facility Services Manager and assists in directing day-to-day facility operations, managing corrective actions, supporting capital improvement projects, and maintaining regulatory compliance. This position plays a key role in supporting the safe operation of an NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) regulated precision manufacturing nuclear fuel cycle facility, with the authority to elevate safety concerns, recommend work stoppage when necessary, and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
What You Will Do
Assist the Facility Services Manager in the daily oversight of site facilities, maintenance activities, utilities, and infrastructure. Coordinate facility resources and contractor activities to support production schedules, maintenance outages, and special projects. Support management of facility contracts, vendor performance, budgets, and project schedules. Help oversee company fleet operations, facility grounds maintenance, and general site services. Serve as the Facility Services Manager's delegate during periods of absence, ensuring continuity of operations. Support emergency preparedness activities and facility response during abnormal events.

Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: 76,010 - 120,000. This position is Bonus eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience.

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance. Candidates for positions requiring a security clearance are required to be tested for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 prior to an offer of employment being made. In addition, once employed, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
