Facility Support Attendant - Part-time 24 hours per week. 3 days a week, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.Why You'll Love This Position

You will get to be the face of The Missouri Botanical Garden during your shift. You may interact with Garden employees, visitors, vendors, and donors. Under general supervision, performs and maintains the internal and external appearance of the Garden. Paid training will be provided to ensure you are ready and prepared to welcome visitors to The Missouri Botanical Garden.

What You'll Do (Highlights)

Perform general daily housekeeping dutiesEvent Set-up duties require setting up tables, chairsRemain alert, courteous, and helpful to visitors and employees at all timesEnsure that all recycled compost and landfill materials are placed in the correct containersReports all accidents, injuries, and near-miss accidents immediately to your supervisorSweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, washing surfaces, emptying trash, and other duties as assigned

What You'll Need For Success

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.Be willing to learn new proceduresPresent a professional attitude at all times under the scrutiny of the general publicMeet productivity standardsAbility to read instructions and to understand the label on cleaning productsAbility to multitask in a sometimes fast-paced environmentAbility to lift 30-60 poundsAbility and willingness to work in varying temperatures and all-weather conditionsAbility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Additional Details:

This position starts at $16.20 per hour.
