The Facility Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and appearance of Class A, a multi-building corporate office campus located in El Segundo, California. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, clean, efficient, and professional environment for tenants, visitors, and campus employees.
Shift: 7am to 4pm Monday - Friday
Payrate: $27.81 hourly rate | Weekly pay
Location: El Segundo, Ca

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of campus buildings, common areas, mechanical rooms, restrooms, parking structures, and exterior grounds.
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with established schedules.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs involving lighting, plumbing fixtures, doors, locks, ceilings, flooring, furniture, and building finishes.
- Replace lamps, ballasts, lighting controls, and related components.
- Monitor the condition and operation of HVAC equipment and report deficiencies to building engineering staff.
- Assist with basic maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ensure building systems operate efficiently and support tenant comfort.
- Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and property operating procedures.
- Follow all lockout/tagout and life-safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of facility maintenance, building operations, hospitality facilities, or commercial property experience.
- Experience working in commercial office buildings, campus environments, or corporate facilities preferred.
- Basic knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computers, mobile work-order systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
$27.81 - $27.81 an hour
