We are an excellence-driven organization committed to being the brand of choice in the marketplace and the employer of choice in our community.We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Room Support Team Member to help keep our production operation running smoothly. This is a hands-on role that supports our production lines by making sure employees have the chocolate, raw materials, packaging, trays, boxes, and other supplies they need throughout the day.NOTE: This role is seasonal and works from August to approximately May each year. Year-round positions may be offered based on business needs and performance.Shift: Full-time, Daylight, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.Room Support ResponsibilitiesKeep production lines stocked with raw materials, packaging, and supplies.Stage materials and supplies for production.Fill chocolate melters and document chocolate usage.Bring chocolate and other materials into production as needed.Move full skids out of production areas and replace them with empty skids.Help make corrugated boxes and stock packaging materials.Assist with shrink-wrapping finished boxed candy.Keep production and staging areas clean, safe, and organized.Assist with tray and mold washing when needed.Help with recycling, trash removal, and general production room cleanup.Support Machine Operators, Production, Warehouse, and Sanitation as needed.Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.Perform other duties as assigned based on production needs.QualificationsDependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.Able to stay organized and respond to changing production needs.Willing to perform a variety of hands-on tasks throughout the workday.Able to follow instructions and established safety, food safety, and quality procedures.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for the majority of the workday.Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, push, and pull.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver carts, skids, trays, boxes, and other production materials.Ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.Ability to work in a production environment where temperatures may vary.Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
