Required Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Controls, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
• Experience with SQL and engineering software tools.
• Understanding of electrical design, control systems, and industrial standards.
• Knowledge of MES/SCADA systems (SAP-MES, AMES, JDAAT, Ignition, etc.).
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Candidate Details
• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in Electrical, Controls, Computer, or Automation Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of PLC programming and electrical design/troubleshooting experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with engineering tools, systems, and databases preferred.
• 2+ years of project management experience on moderate to large engineering projects preferred.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and support production as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and update electrical systems, PLC programs, HMI interfaces, and machine controls.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between shop floor equipment, PLCs, SCADA, and MES systems.
• Support electrical design, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
• Respond to production downtime and resolve automation and controls issues.
• Support installation, integration, and networking of manufacturing equipment.
• Perform engineering analysis and feasibility testing for automation solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Support process improvements and implement engineering change initiatives.
• Participate in project planning, execution, and documentation.
• Maintain engineering standards, technical documentation, and best practices.
Support factory automation and industrial control systems by designing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC, HMI, SCADA, MES, and electrical control systems for manufacturing operations. Develop automation solutions, integrate manufacturing equipment, and resolve production issues to improve system reliability and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and contractors to execute automation projects, implement process improvements, and maintain engineering standards, technical documentation, and best practices.
