Senior Staff Factory Automation Engineer – SkyWater TechnologyLocation: Kissimmee, FLSalary: $110,000.00/yr – $165,000.00/yr (based on skills and experience)This range is provided by SkyWater Technology. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.OverviewAs a technical lead, you will design, code, and support factory automation equipment interfaces, implementing new applications, technologies, or techniques to support factory automation.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain automation equipment interface solutions for controlling semiconductor factory equipment using SECS/GEM and GEM300 protocols.Integrate automation solutions to 3rd party support systems such as Automatic Process Control (APC) or Fault Detection & Classification (FDC) within the factory.Identify and implement custom Automation rules for improving site metrics such as Automated Move Out %, Line Yield, rework etc.Troubleshoot automation and equipment issues from application and communication log files.Works with tool owners to identify and document equipment control strategies.Can work independently on complex problems and serve as top level support for junior engineers or technicians in the company.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in a technology-related field of study with 7 years manufacturing industry-related experience. Will consider additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.Develop and maintain automation equipment interface solutions for controlling semiconductor factory equipment.Experience developing on multiple software platforms & technologies.
