Factory Operative

Factory Operative:

Our client located in RG7 is looking for a factory operative.

The role is working within a company that builds bespoke high quality timber crates for freight travel by sea, air, road, or rail.

Own transport is ideal due to the location.

Contract:

Tempory &

Temporary to permanent.

Hours:

Mon - Thurs: 8am - 4:30pm

Fri - 8am - 3:30pm

Pay: £13 per hour

Responsibilities:

· Assist with daily timber packaging and

manufacturing operations.

· Working with wood and timber materials.

· Operate and maintain machinery (full training

provided).

· Cut, assemble, and handle timber products.

· Manage stock and incoming materials.

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

· Follow all health & safety procedures.

· Help in other areas of the warehouse as required.

Ideal Candidate:

· Proven experience working with wood/timber desirable.

· Experience in a manufacturing or factory

environment.

· Good attention to detail

· Machine operation or DIY/carpentry skills are

advantageous.
