    Join a large, nationally recognized academic medical center as a Faculty Cytopathologist within a highly collaborative and subspecialized department. This role offers the opportunity to practice high-level cytopathology in a high-volume setting while engaging in teaching, research, and multidisciplinary care.     About the Practice:

    The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is a physician-led academic group with over 50 faculty members and a fully subspecialized practice model. The division processes a high volume of surgical and cytology specimens annually and maintains close collaboration with clinical teams across multiple specialties.

    The department supports comprehensive residency and fellowship programs and offers access to a robust translational research core with advanced molecular diagnostics and next-generation sequencing capabilities.

    Position Highlights:

    • Subspecialty-focused cytopathology sign-out within a high-volume academic practice
    • Participation in fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures and on-site evaluations
    • Opportunities for teaching residents and fellows in an established training program
    • Involvement in multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards
    • Access to advanced diagnostic technologies and research infrastructure
    • Faculty appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level

    Candidate Qualifications

    • MD or DO with board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology
    • Fellowship training in Cytopathology
    • Eligible for medical licensure in the applicable state
    • Strong diagnostic skills and interest in academic pathology
    • Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
