This is a Remote RoleThe Role: AAPC's Training department is seeking an Instructor Operations Manager to support and lead faculty within its Instructor-Led Training department. This role is responsible for faculty support, onboarding, coaching, performance oversight, and day-to-day issue resolution across live virtual courses. The Instructor Operations Manager plays a key role in ensuring instructors are prepared, supported, and held to consistent quality standards while helping maintain a strong student experience.If you are an experienced education leader who thrives in a fast-paced virtual environment and is passionate about supporting instructors, solving problems, and driving consistency, we want to hear from you.What You'll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty inquiries, concerns, issues, and class-related needsProvide timely support and troubleshooting for matters affecting class delivery, faculty readiness, student experience, and operational continuityLead faculty onboarding, orientation, and readiness support to ensure instructors are prepared for launchConduct regular team meetings and individual check-ins with facultyDeliver ongoing coaching, guidance, and development to support faculty effectiveness and consistencyConduct faculty observations, evaluations, and performance reviews using recordings, metrics, student feedback, and other quality measures to provide actionable feedback and support faculty performanceProvide subject matter expertise and instructional guidance to faculty as neededManage faculty professional development and ongoing training initiativesWhat a Day in the Life May Include Responding to faculty questions, concerns, and urgent class-related issuesTroubleshooting instructor needs that may affect live class delivery or the student experienceOnboarding new faculty and ensuring they are prepared with the tools, systems, and guidance needed to be successfulProviding ongoing support and training to current facultyReviewing class recordings and performance data to evaluate teaching quality and consistencyMonitoring trends in faculty performance, engagement, and student feedbackCoaching faculty through opportunities for improvement and reinforcing standards and expectationsSupporting schedule planning, coverage needs, and other operational priorities to maintain continuity across programsQualifications / Experience You'll Need Current and valid AAPC certificationPrior teaching experience in corporate training or adult education required3+ years of related professional experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experiencePrior experience teaching or supporting online learning preferredExperience leading, mentoring, coaching, or evaluating instructors, educators, or faculty preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with urgencyAbility to analyze performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable feedbackProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work cross-functionally and navigate issues involving faculty, students, systems, and operationsWhat We Offer: Flexible telecommuting optionsCompetitive compensation based on experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous PTO and Holiday PayWho We Are: Our mission is to advance the business of healthcare by providing professional training, industry-standard certifications, and comprehensive solutions to individuals and organizations across medical coding, billing, auditing, compliance, and practice management.We are humble, integrity-centered, passionate, respectful and entrepreneurial.
