Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania invites applications for a full-time,12-month faculty position in their entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Teaching load will be developed in the candidate's area(s) of expertise. Preference will be given to candidates with interest in Cardiopulmonary, Orthopedics, or other areas of clinical specialization. This position includes: teaching in the professional curriculum as assigned; service on University, School of Health Sciences and Education, and Department committees as appointed; participation in departmental activities including accreditation maintenance, curriculum development and evaluation, student research mentorship, student advisement, professional development activities, and community outreach; participation in the University's Core Curriculum Program; and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will engage in research, which may be through the Human Performance Laboratory in the DiSepio Institute for Rural Health and Wellness. Faculty rank and tenure track eligibility will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Requirements for candidacy include a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT), unencumbered current licensure in Pennsylvania or eligibility, and a minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience. Preferred qualifications include a terminal academic degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, or equivalent) or degree in progress; board certified clinical specialization recognized by ABPTS; prior teaching or lecture experience; APTA membership. Candidates who do not possess a terminal academic degree may be required to agree to obtain such as a condition of hire.
