The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University''s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

The Faculty Services Specialist tracks and prepares for upcoming promotion reviews and provides dedicated support to the University Appointments, Promotions, and Tenure committee. This position works closely with the UAPT Chair to schedule meetings, orient new members, edit reports and transmit them to the Provost and President. They serve as a liaison between UAPT members and the schools and colleges regarding questions that arise in the course of review. In addition, this position manages faculty systems and conducts tracking and analysis of outcomes/metrics associated with the tenure and promotion and other processes handled by the Faculty Affairs Office.

Required Skills

A Bachelor''s Degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of work in related experience, ideally administrative work in higher education or a similar field. Excellent communication and organizational skills, including the ability to write well and deal effectively and diplomatically with various constituencies. Must be able to work independently and handle confidential information. Proficiency with MS Office Suite is required.
