Department Nursing Job Purpose

The University of Scranton Department of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track Faculty Specialist position starting in August 2027. This in-person, on site position requires regular on-campus presence. There are opportunities to teach in the undergraduate and graduate programs; teaching and service are required. The Department of Nursing is strongly committed to excellence; the Department's graduates are recognized for being ready to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, holistic, person-centered care at all levels and across many settings.

Additional Skills Required

Applicants must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Minimum Education Requirements

A master's degree in nursing is required.

Preferred Education

A doctoral degree in nursing is preferred.

Minimum Job Experience Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of recent professional nursing practice experience.
