Faith Community Nursing (FCN) Coordinator

Role Details

Status: Full Time (Exempt)

Location: Tampa, FL

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Weekend Work: Occasional

On Call: No

What You'll Do:

As an FCN Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in shaping and supporting community-based health initiatives:

Serve as a liaison between the healthcare system, faith communities, and the broader community

Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of FCN programs

️ Recruit, train, and guide paid and volunteer Faith Community Nurses

Promote holistic care-addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being

Assess community health needs and coordinate wellness screenings & education events

Deliver engaging presentations to nurses, clergy, and community groups

️ Maintain program data and ensure compliance with reporting requirements

Build strong partnerships with congregations and community organizations

Coordinate care for patients in the FCN Transitional Care Program

Travel between facilities and community events as needed

Take on additional responsibilities that support the mission

Role Requirements:

Education: Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred)

Certifications: Active RN license + BLS certification

Experience: At least 3 years of direct patient care

Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills

Commitment to growth-complete BLS Instructor Training within 6 months
