Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive weightlifting programs for students, tailored to various fitness levels.
• Instruct students on proper lifting techniques, safety protocols, and injury prevention.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards within the weight room to ensure a safe and effective training environment.
• Assist in creating individual strength training plans for athletes and general students.
• Provide ongoing support and feedback to students to track progress and ensure proper form.
• Maintain and organize weight room equipment and ensure all equipment is safe and functional.
• Schedule and oversee the use of the weight room, including managing student groups and team access.
• Collaborate with coaches and athletic staff to integrate weight training into overall athletic conditioning plans.
• Offer occasional workshops or group sessions to promote fitness and weightlifting skills.
• Conducting pre assessments of students and maintaining those records.
• Ensuring each student has a signed release form on file before they use the fitness room.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in weightlifting, including knowledge of lifting techniques, program design, and safety practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with students of all skill levels.
• Certification in personal training or strength and conditioning (e.g., NSCA, ACSM, or similar) is preferred.
• NFHS Strength and Conditioning Certification is required within 90 Days.
• *Cannot be a coach in the same season of this position.

Stipend:

Based on commensurate experience, ranging from $4,729 to $6,293.
