Fall Girls on the Run School Coaches
POSITION SUMMARY:
Everett Public Schools is seeking after-school coaches to facilitate Girls on the Run, an evidence-based physical activity and social-emotional learning program for students in Grades 3-5, including girls and students of other marginalized gender identities. The program combines movement, relationship-building, and interactive lessons that help students develop confidence, healthy habits, and important life skills.
Girls on the Run will provide the core curriculum, program materials, and required coach training. Coaches will also facilitate literacy activities that connect students' reading, reflection, and communication skills to the program's social-emotional learning themes.
WORKING TIMES:
REMUNERATION:
$40 per hour; total maximum stipend not to exceed $1,200.
NUMBER OF POSITIONS: Up to two coaches per participating school
