DUTIESINCLUDE:
Will carryout programgoals and objectives basedon the HeadStart/EarlyHeadStartRevisedPerformance
Standards.
Will submitweekly/monthlyreports to include: home visits, enrollment,referrals, attendance,familycontacts,maintainmonthlycontacts with parents,etc. to theCommunity/FamilyPartnershipsSpecialist.
Will recruit,screen and enroll eligible children.
Will assistpotential and current Head Startfamilies in
obtainingthe informationnecessaryfor registrationandenrollment.
Will assist in arranging/providingtransportation for families attendingagencytraining/functions/meetings,etc.
Will maintainaccuratecaseloaddocumentation on eachchild/family.
Will accuratelyrecordallcontacts,meetingsandservices provided on the appropriate forms in atimelymanner.
Will collect and monitordailyattendance of assigned caseload.
Will contactparent orguardian via homevisit or telephonewhen the childhasbeen absent 2 or moreconsecutive days.
Will ensure
required enrollment ofno
less than 85%perclassroom is maintained.
Will encourage
parentinvolvement and participation in all aspects of the HeadStartprogram to includeparent center meetings, PolicyCouncil,volunteerprogramsetc.
Will work a rotatingshiftfrom 3:30 PM until allbusesclear inHampton,DenbighandDowntownNewport News.
Ensuresallhealthscreenings arecompleted within the first 45 days of enrollment.
Maintainindividualhealthrecords of allchildrenenrolled in the program.
Ensuresallhealth services andfollow-upserviceson children are obtainedin atimelymanner in accordancewith the Performance Standards.
Assist in the schedulingand arrangement ofmedical services provided for,and to HeadStartchildrenandfamilies.
Will meetregularly/as needed with theFamilyServicesSpecialist to reviewthe status of thecaseload,classroometc.
Will assisttransportationas abus
monitor whenneeded.
Accepts other duties asassignedbythe Supervisor and/orDirector.
