Family Assistant/Chauffeur- Syosset, NY

Seeking a full-time Family Assistant / Chauffeur for a couple in Syosset, New York. The primary responsibility is driving, with additional help with errands, luggage, vehicle care and light household logistics.

The family is looking for someone professional, flexible, trustworthy and experienced working with private families. The ideal candidate will be comfortable becoming a long-term, trusted part of the household.

Responsibilities

• Drive the family safely throughout Long Island, Manhattan and the five boroughs.
• Drive the principal to office and business meetings.
• Drive both principals to appointments, errands, social events and other activities.
• Occasional trips to New Jersey, upstate New York and surrounding areas.
• Handle groceries, prescriptions, dry cleaning, returns and other errands.
• Assist with luggage, packages and loading/unloading.
• Keep vehicles clean, organized and ready for use.
• Coordinate fueling/charging, maintenance, service and detailing.
• Maintain mileage and trip records.
• Provide light personal and household assistance as needed.
• Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Excellent driving record and strong references.
• Extensive, recent experience driving throughout Long Island, Manhattan and the five boroughs..
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious.
• Discreet and respectful of the family's privacy.
• Flexible and willing to help beyond driving when needed.
• Strong knowledge of the NYC/Long Island area.
• Law-enforcement, military or security experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule: Full-time, weekend coverage required

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 annually
