Family Assistant- Yorktown Heights, NY

A busy family in Yorktown Heights, NY is seeking an experienced, proactive Family Assistant to help keep their household running smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, enjoys working with children, and is comfortable managing a combination of childcare, household support, errands, and meal preparation. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative and enjoys becoming a trusted member of a family's daily routine.

Responsibilities

• Provide afternoon childcare for three children (ages 7, 6, and 2)

• Supervise children while maintaining a safe and engaging environment

• Assist with school-related needs as necessary

• Complete family and children's laundry

• Grocery shopping and household errands

• Maintain organization throughout the home

• Restock household supplies as needed

• Prepare healthy family dinners

Qualifications

• Experience caring for multiple children

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and professionalism

• Comfortable preparing family meals

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Strong references from previous private households

Schedule: Monday–Friday,  10:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary:  $35–$45 per hour
