This individual must be flexible, organized and computer literate. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must demonstrate emotional stability and leadership skills. Bachelor degree preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in early childhood education required. Must pass a Background Record Check. Essential Functions:Maintain effective and positive communication with families and co-workersDemonstrate excellent and professional verbal and written communications.Provide leadership to ensure programs and services are successfully delivered by the team.Demonstrate emotional maturity and stabilityMust have a Massachusetts state driver's license and reliable transportationMust have visual and auditory capabilities.Must be competent in Microsoft Office  Specific Responsibilities:Maintain effective communication between the office and the Director of Family ChildcareResponsible for recruiting licensed educators Develop community contacts to expand client baseSupport educators through regular visits offering orientation, training and developmentMaintain child care contracted slots and vouchers by using current wait lists, placement of children, reassessments and attendanceFunction as a liaison between Guild of St. Agnes educators and parentsArrange respite child care and complete reimbursement formsConduct and document regular home visitsMonitor fee collection and termination lettersMaintain ongoing communication with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) for children with open cases in DCFArrange for substitute care for childrenProcess educators' weekly invoices Arrange and coordinate transportation for children as neededParticipate in training programs, conferences, courses and other aspects of relatedEnsure EEC financial assistance regulations and policies are being maintainedEnsure EEC license regulations are being met by the FCC providerAttend all FCC meetings and participate in public relation eventsScheduled work hours may vary and are subject to change The Guild of St. Agnes offers an excellent benefits package including; medical, dental, and vision insurances, a 401k with up to 10% employer contribution, up to 3 weeks of vacation first year of employment, and more.The Guild of St. Agnes is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to creating a diverse, inclusive environment for all employees This job requires a successfully completed EEC background check.
