About the Role: Dispute Resolution Center Inc. is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Family Coach and Visit Supervisor to join our team in Kingston, NY. Responsibilities:
Supervise and facilitate scheduled family visits in a safe, neutral, and supportive environment
Provide family coaching services to help parents and caregivers develop effective communication and parenting skills
Document visit observations, family progress, and any incidents accurately and in a timely manner
Develop and implement individualized family coaching plans based on assessed needs
Collaborate with case managers, social workers, and other service providers to support family reunification goals
Facilitate conflict resolution strategies and de-escalate tense situations during family interactions
Maintain professional boundaries while building trusting relationships with families
Transport children and/or parents to and from visits in company-owned vehicles
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field preferred, or
Prior experience in family services, child welfare, or supervised visitation programs, and working with low-income families
Strong knowledge of family dynamics, trauma-informed care, and conflict resolution techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting
Ability to remain calm, professional, and objective in high-stress or emotionally charged situations
Valid and clean driver's license required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply
