Family/Internal Medicine Physician

Sanitas Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our Coral Springs, Florida medical center.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys caring for a diverse, multigenerational patient population and is looking to practice comprehensive outpatient primary care in a collaborative, value-based environment. Our model is designed to support excellent patient outcomes, preventive care, and meaningful long-term relationships with patients.

Position Highlights

• 100% outpatient primary care

• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians welcome

• All-ages patient population, from pediatrics through geriatrics

• Rotating schedule every two weeks:

  • Week 1–2: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

  • Week 3–4: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM

• One Saturday every four weeks, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

• No on-call responsibilities

• No hospital rounding

• Collaborative, multidisciplinary care team

Physician Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions

• Provide preventive care, annual wellness visits, immunizations, and health screenings

• Manage chronic diseases and develop individualized treatment plans

• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies

• Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the multidisciplinary care team

• Prescribe medications in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations

• Educate patients and families regarding preventive health, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Participate in quality improvement, preventive care, and population health initiatives

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment

• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain

• Current BLS certification

• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

• Ability and willingness to care for patients across the lifespan

• Outpatient primary care experience preferred
