Location
Full-time in Austin, TX. This role starts primarily on-site (office + courthouses), with hybrid flexibility after a probation period for attorneys who consistently demonstrate strong productivity and responsiveness.
Note:
Must have 1+ year of first chair family law litigation experience in Travis, Hays, and Williamson counties (local Austin-area family law experience).

Job Description
Manage an active family law caseload involving divorce, custody, support, and related matters
First chair contested hearings and support trial preparation, strategy, and courtroom execution
Draft and file pleadings, motions, orders, decrees, and settlement documentation
Conduct discovery (requests, responses, document review) and coordinate case timelines
Prepare for and attend mediations, court appearances, and client meetings
Communicate with clients in high-conflict situations with confidence, tact, and steadiness
Collaborate with senior attorneys while progressing toward full docket ownership
Qualifications
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
1+ year of local family law experience, including first chair work in Travis, Hays, and Williamson counties
Comfortable with litigation workflow: hearings, mediation prep, drafting, discovery, and client meetings
Reliable, organized, and highly responsive during work hours
Strong communication skills with a calm, empathetic presence in stressful situations
Preferred familiarity with Clio, Westlaw tools, Microsoft Word/Excel, and Texas family law resources
