Our Whippany NJ client is seeking skilled Family Law Associate.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other legal proceedings
- Draft legal documents, including petition, motions, etc.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Maintain client confidentiality and uphold professional ethics and standards
- Taking care of the client's case from beginning to end without instruction
- Conduct meetings with potential and existing clients to develop case strategies.
- Prepare for and attend court appearances.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents.
- Be prepared to travel to neighboring counties if necessary.
- Assign tasks to paralegals and legal assistants and oversee their work.
Qualifications:
- A qualified attorney licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey.
- 5+ years experience
- Strong oral and written advocacy skills
- Strong communication, research, and writing skills are a must-have.
- Willingness to work diligently to ensure top-notch client service and results is required.
- A positive and uplifting attitude is highly valued.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask are critical.
- Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure tasks are completed accurately on the first attempt is expected.

Compensation: Salary to 165k commensurate with experience, Bonus, Benefits, 401(k).
