     Boutique South Florida law firm offering a fresh approach to handling legal dilemmas with a focus in the practice areas of Family Law, Personal Injury, Real Estate and Immigration is looking to add a Family Law Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of family law experience to their team.  Candidates must be fluent in Spanish. The Family Law team is passionate about helping their clients, treating them with compassion and a supportive atmosphere.  They help clients navigate divorce, child custody and support, alimony, paternity, equitable distribution, and related matters.

     

    This position is ideal for an attorney who is confident handling family law matters, enjoys working directly with clients, and is looking for a long-term opportunity with a firm that genuinely values work-life balance. This position is onsite, full-time and based out of the firm’s Coral Gables, FL office location.

     

    Family Law Matters You Will Handle:

    • Divorce and dissolution of marriage
    • Child custody/time-sharing and parenting plans
    • Child support and alimony
    • Paternity matters
    • Modifications and enforcement proceedings
    • Discovery and motion practice
    • Hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
    • Client counseling and case strategy
    • Drafting pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents

     

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a Florida Bar license in good standing
    • Must have a minimum of 3 years of family law experience
    • Must be Fluent in Spanish
    • Must have strong family law litigation experience
    • Must be comfortable independently handling hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances
    • Must have strong legal research and writing skills
    • Must have excellent client communication and case-management skills
    • Must have the ability to independently manage a caseload while working collaboratively with the team
    • Must be professional, organized, dependable, and solution-oriented
