Location: Hybrid opportunity based in the Salt Lake City, Utah area, Austin, Texas area, or Reno, Nevada area, offering flexibility while maintaining strong client relationships and in-person collaboration when needed.

Note: Candidates must have an active bar license in the jurisdiction where they will practice and possess at least 3+ years of family law attorney experience. Attorneys with 5+ years of family law experience are strongly preferred.

Job Description

  • Handle a broad range of family law matters including divorce, custody, support, modifications, and related disputes.
  • Manage cases from intake through resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and correspondence.
  • Represent clients in mediation, hearings, and trials when necessary.
  • Provide exceptional client communication and guidance throughout the legal process.
  • Collaborate with support staff to maximize efficiency and client service.
  • Participate in networking and business development activities with firm support.
  • Build and maintain referral relationships and professional visibility.
  • Deliver strong advocacy while helping clients navigate challenging situations.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active bar license in Utah, Texas, or Nevada, depending on office location.
  • 3+ years of family law attorney experience required.
  • Strong legal writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships.
  • Trial and mediation experience preferred.
  • Business development mindset and desire to grow a practice.
  • Strong client service orientation and professionalism.
