Description A midsized multi-practice law firm in the greater Seattle area is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join their office. The salary range is 140-175k base with additional structured bonus earnings. Additional bonus earnings for case origination and exceptional performance, marketing efforts or other contributions outside the norm. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401k with profit sharing, 150 hours PTO, paid court holidays, paid CLE and bar dues, paid parking in the office building, and additional perks. Billable expectation is flexible but established at 1400 as a default. This role will handle cases of family law, including dissolutions, parenting plans, custody agreements, protection orders and more. Associates are assigned a mentoring partner, who provides both structured and informal mentoring, at the level needed based on prior experience. The firm as a close and friendly rapport and is excited to grow their group of associates. Future partnership is possible and encouraged. The firm has both non-equity and equity partner tracks, and offers full transparency on the compensation equations for both upfront! Once established at the firm, you may work fully autonomous and enjoy a large degree of flexibility to carry the caseload of your choosing. Associates may work 2 days per week from home if desired. More senior-level attorneys may work from home more often if desired. Office space is available 5 days per week. Requirements Ideal candidates will have the following experience: - 3+ years of experience in family law in King, Pierce, Snohomish or Thurston counties - Juris Doctor with strong academic credentials - Active Washington Bar License, in good standing - Experience drafting declarations, motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents - Skilled legal research and writing - Skilled at communication and client care - Able to originate cases independently, although a partial caseload will be assigned upon joining, with the firm receiving "call in" leads and support for marketing - A book of business is not required but would support an immediately full case load For expedited and confidential consideration, email your resume to Amy(period)Dillahunty(at)RobertHalf(period)com with subject line "Family Law Attorney" Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
