J G Boyd Law LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Family Law Attorney to join our team in Decatur, GA. Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, and alimony
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, agreements, and court orders
• Conduct client consultations and provide sound legal counsel on family law issues
• Negotiate settlements and mediate disputes between opposing parties
• Appear in court hearings, trials, and depositions on behalf of clients
• Manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining accurate and organized case files
• Stay current on Georgia family law statutes, case law, and court procedures

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia
• Prior experience in family law, domestic relations, or litigation preferred
• Strong knowledge of Georgia family law statutes and DeKalb County court procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy, discretion, and professionalism
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
