The firm has built an excellent reputation for providing high-quality legal representation and compassionate client service across a broad range of family law matters. The firm is seeking an attorney with at least 2 years of family law experience who is looking to grow their career within a collaborative and respected legal team. Attorneys at the firm handle a diverse caseload while receiving strong administrative and legal support.
Responsibilities
- Manage family law cases from intake through resolution
- Handle matters involving divorce, custody, support, adoption, and related family law issues
- Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Conduct legal research and case strategy development
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Provide compassionate and strategic legal guidance throughout the legal process
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the North Carolina Bar
- Minimum of 2 years of direct family law experience required
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and client communication skills
- Ability to independently manage a caseload while working collaboratively within a team environment
- Courtroom experience preferred
