Family Law Attorney

A respected law firm in Seattle is looking to add a Family Law Attorney to its growing practice. This is a great opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful client contact, sophisticated family law matters and the opportunity to build a long-term practice.

What you’ll do:

• Handle a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support and complex financial issues
• Manage cases independently while working closely with clients and the firm's attorneys
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and settlement agreements
• Take part in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings
• Develop strong client relationships and take ownership of matters
• Have the opportunity to grow your practice and take on increasing responsibility

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of family law experience preferred
• Strong writing, research and communication skills
• Comfortable handling matters independently
• Good courtroom and negotiation skills
• Washington bar admission
• Someone who is looking for a long-term home and wants to continue growing as a family law attorney
