Our client's growing family law practice is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of family law experience and be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a busy caseload from inception through trial.

Responsibilities
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, modifications, enforcement actions, and related proceedings
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Prepare and organize case files, exhibits, and trial notebooks
- Manage case deadlines, court filings, and attorney calendars
- Coordinate hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings
- Review and summarize financial records, tax returns, bank statements, and other supporting documentation
- Communicate directly with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation and courtroom support as needed
- Maintain accurate case management records and ensure timely follow-up on all matters
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of family law paralegal experience required
- Strong knowledge of Texas family law procedures and court rules
- Experience handling a high-volume caseload in a law firm environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff
- Paralegal certificate preferred but not required based on experience

- Trial preparation and courtroom support
- Drafting complex family law pleadings and discovery
- Reviewing financial documents and preparing asset summaries
- E-filing experience in Texas state courts
