    Position Highlights

    • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for patients of all ages in an outpatient setting
    • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and complex medical conditions
    • Perform comprehensive evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning
    • Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and specialty diagnostic tests
    • Deliver preventive care, health maintenance, and patient education
    • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, specialists, and support staff
    • Document patient encounters using Athena EMR
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and performance metrics
    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and credentialing requirements
    • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, specialists, and administrative teams
    • Attend team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education sessions
    • Foster a supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused culture

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
    • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency program
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
    • Active or pending unrestricted Texas medical license
    • Active or pending DEA certification
    • Proficiency with EMRs and modern computer systems

    Preferred Experience

    • 2+ years of clinical practice experience
    • Experience with Athena EMR

    Skills & Competencies

    • Strong diagnostic and clinical problem-solving skills
    • Excellent interpersonal communication and bedside manner
    • Ability to manage patients with multiple chronic and complex conditions
    • Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
