Position Highlights
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for patients of all ages in an outpatient setting
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and complex medical conditions
- Perform comprehensive evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning
- Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and specialty diagnostic tests
- Deliver preventive care, health maintenance, and patient education
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, specialists, and support staff
- Document patient encounters using Athena EMR
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and credentialing requirements
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, specialists, and administrative teams
- Attend team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education sessions
- Foster a supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused culture
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Active or pending unrestricted Texas medical license
- Active or pending DEA certification
- Proficiency with EMRs and modern computer systems
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of clinical practice experience
- Experience with Athena EMR
