Family Medicine - Geriatric Medicine Physician - Portland, OR

Quick Facts:

  • Duration: Ongoing coverage, minimum 2 weeks/month
  • Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Hours/week: 40
  • Employment Type: Contract/Locum
  • Licensure: Active Medical License, DEA
  • Experience: Geriatric experience preferred, BC or BE

Pay & Benefits:
  • Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour
  • Pay package: Discussed upon application

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide outpatient medical care to adults aged 55+ in a PACE program
  • Conduct home and community visits alongside interdisciplinary teams
  • Manage patient care using electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate visits
  • Follow clinical protocols for geriatric health management
  • Assist with intake and ongoing care for elderly patients
  • Participate in team meetings and community outreach activities

What You Need:
Required:
  • Active Medical License and DEA
  • Board Certified or Truly BE in Internal or Family Medicine
  • BLS certification
  • Geriatric care experience preferred

Preferred:
  • Experience with PACE programs or home/community-based elder care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
